The batteries can be recharged from a power source and the inbuilt diesel generator when an external source is not available. The batteries used are special dry batteries that can be charged in 6 hours - offering 8 hours of continuous operation when full. These lighting towers are ideal for indoor use and in enclosed spaces, as they do not produce any carbon dioxide emissions. The diesel backup generator also engages automatically when the batteries require charging and are not plugged in. These hybrid lighting towers have a telescopic mast that can be extended to a maximum height of 8.5m. The mast can rotate 340º, offering flexibility, versatility and excellent lighting coverage - suitable for 2,500m² spaces. These tower lights have a large 160 litre fuel tank, which means they are ideal for long working periods. As they are highly portable, they can be used for a range of different industries. The central unit is mounted on a rugged towable trailer, so that can be easily moved into location and transported.
