PPR Pipe Socket Fusion Bench Hire Socket-Weld PP, PVDF, PE Pipes & Fittings This PPR pipe socket fusion machine is designed for joining PP and PPR pipe sections of between 16mm and 125mm. This PPR pipe socket fusion welder machine joins pipes together using injection moulded fittings. This fusion welder features a high-quality PTFE coated socket and spigot ends. To use this machine, you insert a section of pipe into the socket end and insert the matching pipe fitting over the spigot end so that they are perfectly aligned. The hot plate then heats up - the heating element is adjustable and it is suitable for plastics welding according to DVS. As the hot plate heats up it also heats the outer surface of the plastic pipe and the inside surface of the fitting. Both sections are heated for a length of time before you remove them from the hotplate and push the pipe directly into the fitting. As the heated surfaces of the 2 sections cool down, they form a robust and reliable weld. This is an extremely fast, simple and reliable method of fusing pipes to sockets, providing solid, high-quality joints. This socket fusion bench is lightweight and portable. It is easy to carry between worksites and it is also suitable in any workshop and in tight spaces.
