Everything you need to know about Heavy Duty SDS Rotary Hammer Drill hire

Description

Heavy Duty SDS Rotary Hammer Drill Hire Versatile 110v 32mm Combi Drill These heavy-duty SDS rotary hammer drills can handle strenuous applications, so it is ideal for a contractor working on-site. They are compact and lightweight, offering you reliable, heavy-duty power and performance in a small, easy to use package. These SDS drills have 3 operating modes, including rotary only, hammer only, and rotary hammer. You can easily switch between the settings. These 110v combi drills are low vibration and have a torque limiter that stops the drill when the bit hits against reinforcements. They also have a soft start, built-in LED job light, and offer constant speed under load. The ergonomically designed handles have a soft rubberised grip that fits your hand perfectly to provide maximum control and comfort. The side grip can be used as a brace to maintain safe control when drilling large holes or through hard materials.  Slotted Drive System (SDS) Hammer Drills provide a professional and efficient way of drilling through rigid concrete, brick and masonry that standard rotary drills cannot manage. SDS hammer drills are even much more effective than standard hammer drills, as the hammering action they provide is much more efficient. Whereas standard hammer drills move their whole chuck backwards and forwards to apply a hammer action, SDS drills use special SDS drill bits with indents on their shaft that allow them to move backwards and forwards in a piston action within the chuck. This means that the energy is transferred more precisely and accurately to the drill bit's tip and means that drilling is much faster and more efficient. These drills are fitted with an SDS+ chuck as standard, with an optional 13mm three-jaw chuck adaptor also available during checkout. This optional 13mm 3 jaw chuck adaptor allows this drill to operate as a standard rotary drill, using standard drill bits, with the hammer function turned off. This feature makes the drill extremely versatile, as it can also be used for quick, light jobs on softer materials that may not require the SDS action.
